Biography

 

Kelly Ashley is a Lecturer in Reading for Pleasure at The Open University and Programme Manager for the OU KS3 Reading Schools Programme. With 25 years of experience in the UK and US, Kelly has worked as a teacher, leader, professional development facilitator and mentor. She is a member of UKLA, the Chartered College of Teaching, a CollectivEd fellow and secondary school governor. Kelly’s recent research involves reader engagement with magazines and is now heading into the third phase of study.
